Options Calculator
MORAM Capital has developed, based on the Black-Scholes formula (commonly used to calculate option prices), a options calculator that allows the user to easily calculate the price of an option (Put / Call). This way, the user can make a more informed decision about whether to buy/sell options for specific companies without relying solely on the market value (very useful when there are large gaps between supply and demand, as commonly happens with small caps).
This calculator also provides visual information on how the option premium would evolve over time until expiration and the prices the option may take.
To do this, the user only needs to enter the option’s strike price, the current price, the time to expiration of the option, the current risk-free rate (10Y US Treasury), the company’s volatility, and the dividend yield if applicable.
